Mélanie: Melyjah is an ethnic brand located in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. I am mixing different textiles from Africa and other continents: cotton, wax, silk.
APiF: Who do you design for?
Mélanie: I’m designing unique pieces for women and little girls; I want them to feel good in their outfits.
APiF: Which song expresses your collection best?
Mélanie: The music that expresses my collection best is Jammin’ by Bob Marley: the song is just feel good, colorful and sensual all together!
