Everyone seems to be doing it right now: taking fashionable pictures in front of a very busy wallpaper – a clash of colors and prints, but still appealing to the eye. This style was first brought to my attention by the art of Hassan Hajjajs and recently also Mara Hoffman used it for the presentation of her look book.
In this shoot titled “Mozambique Beauties” I am a fan of the fashion that is quite now with its high-low flowy dress, wedges and print on print outfit. But at the same time the images remind me of skimming through an old family picture book of my mum or gran – somehow stiff and antiquated but it makes you smile.
