The campaign by textile design company Printex Ghana to showcase their 2016 designs is called “A Duku Crowns”. The campaign is stunning! The head-wraps are creative and gorgeous. Every crown can be used to express a different mood or attitude: “Some duku are loud and large, others are plain and simple. Some duku say “look at me!”, while others can represent a time of mourning or loss. One thing though is for sure – a woman’s duku speaks volumes.”
I am heading to Ghana in 4 days now (!!) so hopefully my aunties can help me to create a beautiful duku for myself. Which one is your favorite style? Let me know and comment below!
