Off-shoulder styles were a trend you just couldn’t ignore or escape from last year. Blouses, tops and dresses with elastic top lines; long sleeves, half sleeves, no sleeves; with ruffles or without ruffles – you name it, it exists.
I must admit: I am a fan and not mad at all that off-shoulders will also be trending again all through this year’s Spring & Summer!
The reason for the shoulder-craze?
I am not quite sure. To “give someone the cold shoulder” means to ignore them or to treat them unfriendly. Is off-the-shoulder the stylish way to be subtly rude in the year of the Resistance? In that case, let me wear an off-shoulder top to the office tomorrow – LOL. Jokes aside, showing off your shoulders just looks very elegant & sexy and the style is flattering for women in all different shapes and sizes.
