Yes, I am calling the Duro Olowu Fall collection muted. If you are surprised about this statement, check-out some of his past collections via the links below. Nigerian designer Duro Olowu is known for his print clashes and bold combinations. He is also known for his beautiful long dresses.
Duro Olowu’s Fall collection thus feels different. As if he has decided to tone everything down a bit: The prints are not as much in your face, the polka dots are smaller than in his Spring/Summer collection, the print clashes are still existing here and there – but much less extreme. But don’t get me wrong: Everything is still beautiful!
My two favorite looks are the yellow & black checkered dress and the ruffle skirt out of the same print combined with a white & black and pink & black polka dot jumper. I can totally see myself in that outfit this Fall/Winter.
