APiF’s Holiday Gift Guide

Check-out my curated Holiday Gift Guide. Besides Summer, the Holidays are my favorite season. I love decorating my place festive, bake Christmas Cookies ( I make my own dough, no ready-made cookie dough in my kitchen) and listen to cheesy Christmas songs (yes everyone who stops by gets tortured with them).

My family stopped gifting for Xmas a couple of years ago. Just the kiddies get now presents. But I love gifting, so I always end up giving everyone something small small.

Here is a gift guide for anyone who wants to buy their loved ones or themselves a Christmas / Holiday gift and support black-owned businesses at the same time.

Rain Coat by Maison Chateaux Rouge

This is such a great idea, a rain coat made with African fabrics to brighten up a rainy day. I love this brand and all its creative ideas. Maybe the rain coat is a bit to pricey as a gift, so I would suggest you git it to yourself.

Necklace / Wall Art by Afrigarde

Wearable art, that is the byline from this South African brand. The designs are made out of felt and mix a futuristic aesthetic with ” traditional design elements of African body adornment”. If you don’t always want to wear a statement necklace around your neck, just hang it on the wall. I love this versatility.

And here is finally something for the Gents. A stylish accessory made out of different stone beads like black onyx, lava stone, etc. and sometimes enhanced some mahogany wood beads. Elegant, stylish and not overpowering, so it can become one of these bracelets that you never take off. Great gift idea for all the fashionable men out there.

Luggage by Laolu

Okay I admit, this might be a bit of an expensive present. Or it is a layaway Christmas present. You give this to someone and then this person won’t get any gifts for many many Holidays to come. You would be able to see these fabulous suitcases from afar and nobody could accidentally walk away with your bags. If they do, at least you know they have great taste. Shop here…
