Frustrated with your swimwear from last year and looking for a new inspiration? Look no further! Nigerian designer Andrea Iyamah just launched her 2017 swimwear collection and it is absolutely stunning. The designer is known for her eye-catching campaigns, but this one is definitely my favorite. It is elegant, vibrant, beautiful and has at the same time a retro feel to it.
Initially the image reminded me of water fairies dancing – but then I noticed the feathers in the headwrap and realized of course: the models are meant to be birds! Extremely colorful and beautiful birds indeed. And I love that she paired the swimwear with headwraps – now I totally want to wear a headwrap in a popping color with my swimwear outfit this summer.
Also I really like the different cuts of the swimwear with one off-shoulder design and several stylish cut-out back details. The bottoms don’t seem to have all the extreme high leg cuts as Andrea Iyamah‘s past designs, which I appreciate as they are not for everyone and certainly not for me ;-)
