Quirky, different, extravagant, surreal and more – all this applies to the new Fall/Winter 2014 collection from Senegalese designer Selly Raby Kane. The title of her latest work: Alien Cartoon Collection. The inspiration behind the garments according to the press release: “A reflection on an Invaded African city, where naive and fantastic creatures would evolve among Human beings.” The concept of the images was created by Senegalese photographer Omar Victor Diop.I really like the red hairstyle – very unique. Also the cardigans are cool – I just wouldn’t wear them how they are showcased below and drop the stone-washed denim, add a belt and some heels.
